Catalyst After Hours returns with live music, comedy and a brilliant night out

Tickets are now on sale for Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum’s After Hours programme, bringing live music, comedy and entertainment to Catalyst this autumn.

Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum is opening its doors after hours this autumn with a programme of exciting events designed to offer something a little different for adults in Halton and beyond

The programme kicks off on Thursday 10 September with Molly Doyle, followed by headline performance from The Mersey Flows.

The Mersey Flows bring their energetic live sound to Catalyst for what promises to be a fantastic evening of music, while Molly Doyle will get the night underway.

Then, on Friday 9 October, Catalyst welcomes acclaimed comedian Robin Ince, in an event brought to you by Giggle Shack.

Known for his unique blend of comedy, science, curiosity and storytelling, Robin Ince has established himself as one of the UK’s most distinctive comedians. His appearance at Catalyst promises an evening of laughs, big ideas and plenty to think about.

Catalyst’s After Hours programme is part of its commitment to making the centre a place for people to enjoy science, culture, entertainment and social experiences outside of traditional daytime opening hours.

Subsidised tickets for local residents

Catalyst is also offering a limited number of subsidised tickets for local residents, helping make the After Hours programme accessible to the local community.

Local residents who would like to find out more or claim a subsidised ticket should email info@catalyst.org.uk. Availability is limited and tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nikki Burton Mallott, CEO of Catalyst, said:

“We’re really excited to bring After Hours back to Catalyst. We want people to see the building in a completely different way – somewhere to come with friends, enjoy great entertainment and have a brilliant night out.

“We’ve got an exciting mix of live music and comedy coming up, starting with Molly Doyle and The Mersey Flows in September and then Robin Ince with Giggle Shack in October.

“We also want to make sure local people have the opportunity to enjoy these events, which is why we have a limited number of subsidised tickets available for local residents. We’re hoping people will come along, support live entertainment and experience Catalyst after dark!”
