International Trade Services

Our Export Documentation Service provides a speedy service, great value and accurate export documentation to companies who export goods overseas.  We can advise on the right documentation required to ensure customs clearance and facilitate duty exemptions.  The E-Certs service means that these days you don't even need to leave the office to receive your urgent, export documents promptly. 


European Certificates of Origin

A Certificate of Origin is a signed statement verifying where a product has been made. It is a printed document which must be completed by an exporter or their agent and certified by an issuing body They are often required for overseas customs clearance.  They can be applied for either in person, by post, courier or electronically.

EUR1 Movement Certificates

A EUR1, also known as a 'movement document' enables importers in certain countries to import goods at a reduced rate or nil rate of import duty under trade agreements between the EU and beneficiary countries.

A.TR Certificates

The A.TR Certificate entitles goods which are in 'free circulation' in the EU (i.e. the goods are EU originating, or on importation into the EU, all the relevant duties and taxes have been paid) to receive preferential import duty when shipped to Turkey.

Arab and Egyptian Documents

We are well placed to arrange the certification and legalisation of all Arab and Egyptian Documents. Contact us for individual quotations for all your Arab and Egyptian Documents.

Other Documents

We can also arrange ATA Documents for businesses requiring temporary importation on commercial samples, professional equipment, or goods going to either a trade fair or exhibition. Customers may sometimes require other letters, documents or agreements formally stamped and signed by your local Chamber. Just let us know your requirements and we'll always do our best to help.

About e-z Cert

Our electronic export documentation service means that EC Certificates of Origin, EUR1, AT.R  and invoices can be electronically certified online.  By using our e-z Cert service you can have your documents certified and returned to you quickly and efficently.  If you would like to know more please contact us on 0333 358 3480 or email info@haltonchamber.co.uk

Advice and Training

We have years of experience and a breadth of knowledge and are always on hand to advise and help with any matter relating to processing your documents.  

Before processing documents on your behalf you will need to register by completing a Formal Undertaking and Specimen Signatures form and return it to us here at Halton Chamber either by post or email. The completed original documents are held securely by the Chamber and renewed annually.

Our same-day service is offered over the counter providing a tremendous benefit for local and Halton based companies.  Halton Chamber members also receive significant discounts on all export documentation and courses. 

For export documentation our hours are:

Mon - Fri 9:00am – 14:00pm for standard applications and 15:30pm for express applications and collections.
