Future Yard and MusicFutures have teamed up to make a new Carbon Literacy course, placing an internationally-renowned qualification into the local context of the Liverpool creative industries. Through the support of MusicFutures, the first 100 participants from the Liverpool City Region will access the course for free.
MusicFutures is a research and business innovation programme funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and led by the University of Liverpool in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University, to position the Liverpool City Region as a global hub for music research, development and innovation.
Future Yard is a community music venue that was established to bring about profound social and cultural change in Birkenhead. Our sustainability work, powered by Ecotricity Business, utilises the power of music and creativity to create impactful climate action - from campaigning for public transport to pioneering green energy and beyond.
