2019 Winners - Octave Design Services

Established in 2018 Octave began trading in a spare bedroom until they took up residence at the Heath Technical Park. They provide mechanical engineering design & consultancy services. In July 2018 they were awarded full membership of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). As a new business they have established a product & service which rivals the larger businesses in their sector, and they continue to go from strength to strength.

The company operates a robust customer satisfaction survey, which is used to great effect. Stick ‘n’ Step works with children and young people with Cerebral Palsy, and their families, from across North West England and North Wales. The organisation was formed in 2002 by a group

Support at Home is a local, family run business, providingvhigh quality care for adults and families in their own homes. They were founded in Liverpool in August 2011 by their Registered Manager Nicola Beal and her husband Wayne, together with Nicola’s parents, Janet and Brian Powell. Over the past eight years they have had consistent growth and success and the workforce now consists of 86 members of staff. Nicola and Wayne’s two adult sons have also played their part in shaping the company.
